At least, 400 people got killed in the 7.1 magnitude earthquake happened an hour and thirty-seven minutes ago (8.25PM Malaysia time) in west China, which is pretty much close to Tibet. Half a dozen aftershocks followed, reaching 5.8 magnitude.
The vast majority of Yushu residents there are ethnic Tibetans or Mongolians who live in flimsy wooden houses with earthen walls.
